New Fire Station

We are very excited to share a great accomplishment that was recently announced. The Town of St. Albans has been awarded a grant in the amount of $1.5 million. The grant from Senator Collins office was passed through the Senate and House this past week with President Trump signing the bills Wednesday evening. The Chief’s involved have dedicated their time to making this dream a reality and we would like to acknowledge Paul Doughty, Fred Cooper, and Jamie Crocker for their efforts. We would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to the residents in St. Albans who have participated in the Annual Town Meetings and Seth & Nikki Snowman. Seth & Nikki’s generous gift of land for the new fire station has alleviated a financial burden associated with the project and has provided a suitable location. Our goal is to continue to keep St. Albans residents safe for any emergency situation that arises and a new facility will allow for that goal to be achieved.
