Sand for Residents
Residents of the Town of St. Albans are permitted to obtain sand for personal use at the Town’s Sand & Salt shed located near 58 Hartland Road. Turn left on to the long driveway just before the guardrail begins. The sand available for residents is located to the left of the large shed. Please call the Town Office at (207) 938-4568 if you need assistance locating the shed or the material.
Dog Licenses 2026
Maine State Law requires all dogs 6 months of age or older to be licensed and have a current Maine Rabies Vaccination. Be sure to bring your dog’s current rabies certificate, and neutered/spayed certificate, if applicable. If you no longer have a dog or if your dog is now deceased, please contact the Town office at 938-4568.
- Altered Dog - $6.00
- Dangerous Dog - $100
- Unaltered Dog - $11.00
- Court ordered after Aug 1, 2018, Late Fee - $25.00 (per dog)
- Late Fee - $140.00
- Nuisance Dog - $30.00 (court ordered after Aug 1, 2018)
